krujeBased on the history, it might seem that Albania is only a destination for adventurers. However, it is true no more. Nowadays, Albania represents a safe country with intensively developing tourism and tourist centers with high quality hotels not only on the seashore of Adriatic and Ionian Sea, but also in the inland (e.g. in the Albanian Alps). The seashore of the country is over 427 km long, 200 km of which form the favorite shores of the Adriatic Sea (from the Montenegro border to the Gulf of Vlora). Besides beautiful sandy beaches, swimming and water sports, the Adriatic seashore offers also many cultural and historic sights built by the Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Illyrians or Turks. Within the small area of the country you will find Muslim mosques and Greek-orthodox churches. Albanian shore is typical for its Mediterranean climate with warm and dry summers and humid winter.
